"While I swim in my safe, little bubble,
While I wait in my solitary aquarium,
something unespectable comes all in a sudden
violently breaking the glass.
You, are you offering the love?
What should I do?"

Here I am with a new drawing! This time, a mermaid again. The story is about something that suddenly comes in and shakes (in a good or bad way) your previous peaceful, monotone life. What will you do? Will you accept the offering? Will you accept the new thing, the change?
I totally went back to my lovely color pencils: no watercolors this time. The drawing has a long story: I made a first drawing with the same concept, but during the coloring process something went wrong, the picture was ruined and so I was forced to threw it away. I had to start a new drawing...and this is the final result. It has been a very hard prove for my patience. I'm very happy with my color pencils!
I used a reference picture for the mermaid's pose.

wow she's incredibly pretty and pure. I love how her dynamic pose, it works so well with the soft lines and color.. making every parts in this looks feminine and delicate. Everything elements fit perfectly. I love this very much!
