My wish is to finally open my self to other people, and to the world. But this could be so difficult, when you're all close up inside...

that's exactly how I feel till some years ago. I made this drawing in 2010...I've always been a very shy person, never had many friends, not even at school. I felt like a mermaid in a bottle: I had so much to give but I didn't know how to free myself from isolation. The more you live alone, the more you find difficult to open yourself to others.
Fortunately, something has changed for me in the past few years: I still have a few friends and don't go out very often, but I'm trying to be more open now. I've found a sweet person that I really love (first time in my whole life) and I'm trying to be more friendly and not to be afraid of others.

I think you will find your way, if you really want to

Sometimes we feel alone, and we think other people just don't care about us. Well, that's not completely true. If we open ourselves to others, then others will open themselves to us. We must have the power to open our bottle :hug
